Quality Childcare in the Countryside

TeddyThe Orchard Childminding is one of the primary childcare services in the area. The Orchard childminding service was established in 2006 and built solely to provide quality and affordable childcare for family’s in the area. The very high standard is reflected in the building, equipment, play areas inside and out and the team employed. Within our service we offer full time and part time care depending on the needs of the parents.

Age groups accommodated for:
Babies – 4-12 months
Wobblers – 12-18 months
Toddlers – 18-24 months
Play School (junior pre-school) – 2-3 years
High Scope – 3-5 years
After School – 4+ years (school drop off and collection provided)

Mission Statement
We here at the Orchard are committed to creating an environment that values all children, by facilitating the provision of high quality care in an individual way. We also provide an educational service that supports the whole development of the child in the context of a family centred practice.
In the Orchard childminding we have an open door policy where parents can visit there children any time throughout the day.

Our service provides all meals and food (breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea and all snacks). All are meals are freshly made in-house using locally sourced produce, to give the children all the vitamins and nutrients they need to develop and grow.

Opening Times
The Orchard Childminding offers a 24 hour childminding service.
Monday to Friday we operate 7am -6pm Quality Childcare, then 6pm – 7am Quality Childminding. Both services are registered with TUSLA (formally H.S.E.) and Laois County Childcare Committee.
